Imagine John Today

Today marks John Lennon's 30th death anniversary. It's pretty interesting what he would be doing if he's still around today. His music and his contributions in promoting peace and unity will last forever. May he rest his lovely soul in heaven.

"What they want is dead heroes, like Sid Vicious and James Dean," he said. "I'm not interested in being a dead f------ hero ... so forget 'em, forget 'em."

"But there will be no smoke bombs, no lipstick, no flashing lights. It just has to be comfy. But we could have a laugh. We're born-again rockers, and we're starting over ... There's plenty of time, right? Plenty of time."
-John Lennon 5 December 1980

And then three days later he died, what a sad thought. Just three days before he was happy and jolly about making music again. Curse that Chapman that shot him. But things happen, such a tragic thing to happen to John though. We'll forever be grateful for the talents you shared to us John. Rest in peace.

I know this is late...but I just wanted to say that I think that it's really sad so many talented people are taken from us so early. In fact...it's slightly weird, don't you think? I started researching this stuff you know, and I came across something about the Illuminati, this so-called secret organisation that controls the media and kills any famous singers/musicians who don't want to co-operate with them. To be honest, I don't think any of it's true (there are too many 'ifs' and 'buts'), but the scary thing is...there's enough evidence to keep you wondering.
Anyway, pushing silly fairy stories to one side, do you have any idea why that guy decided to kill John Lennon? I've always wondered...I could research it I guess but I'm too lazy right now...

You know what I actually once thought before that there's a conspiracy about killing all the talented people like targeting them one by one. The Illuminati is far from doing that, I don't think that's true either. I think it's BS. You should read first what Illuminati is really about. But yes, it does make you wonder. You know what I thought of also, that these talented people are not actually dead but are somewhere, some place where they can live in peace. I'm not talking about heaven but I mean you know like they are not really dead but they want the people to know they are dead. Whew, I'm talking crazy here please excuse me lol. It's Christmas day, I'm just ecstatic right now.

I think Chapman killed Lennon due to pure obsession and lack of love and empathy during his childhood. Most mental illness such as schizophrenia which is what Chapman was diagnosed with are due to something people lacked when they were kids especially neglect from their parents (I learned this schizo stuff from school ;)). But from what I read I think he was angry that Lennon didn't believe in God, in The Beatles and that Lennon once said that imagine no possessions but his this big artist who has everything you know. I think that drove this Chapman lad crazy. He idolizes Lennon too much and thinks that his perfect that when he finally saw that he's not actually perfect (cuz no human is) he got mad and just lost it. Also he was obsessed with The Cather in the Rye, he thinks he's the protagonist in that story and believe that he did what he did to "save" Lennon.

It's a bit late. You probably know by now why he did it or maybe still not? lol Well personally I didn't want to be bothered to know this but once I knew it just gave me a headache everytime I thought about it cuz I just can't stop asking why? why him? you know. Oh well.

Lol. Idk why I did this on Christmas day. I hate the question "why"

Anyway, Merry Christmas to you Zee!! :D (I want to end this comment on a happy note!)
